Powerhouse machine that is easily and infinitely ugradable. I hemmed vigorously to cut cable with Windows in a year or so, and eventually resolved. I took an old computer to my Vista Ultimate with VM Ware Fusion - an excellent program for just $ 40, and to be honest, with the exception of a couple of things that sometimes do not go too far.
I update this bad boy of 8 grams of Ram, added 2 more hard drives Terabite each, and added another super-fast optical disc LightScribe, and still plenty of room for further expansion. All updates are simple and easy and worked without problems the first time.
Once you get around a small learning curve associated with migrating from Windows to OS X, there is little that can not easily find or do.
If you have the dough, and want a car powerhouse, go with Apple. I doubt you'll be sorry.

I realize once every blue moon, lemon comes from the line. Perhaps this is one of the lemons 524 series. I had problems, but nothing with it. 1 … not loaded eject the disc … If you remove the rear panel (HP Tech told me that night I brought home … a new car, and as I take it myself!) does not burn CDs … maybe a 5 is playable if it does … four are unhealthy.

My new computer / refurbished Dell is enormous. It has a 250GB disk that I partitioned into two more. In this way, I just ride my photos that I need, because I am a sculptor of the shell and take lots of photos. Everything worked fine until last week when the DVD drive has failed and refused to read anything. I will contact Dell and when it is repaired I'm sure I will like this machine for years to come.
